Here we have the final paintings for last years challenge. I feel like I have learned so much about painting and about myself while working on these. I still can’t believe I spent a full year painting every single day! I’ve never been good at committing myself to anything, but I can definitely say I want to paint and draw for the rest of my life, I just need to find some stability with it. I’m considering applying for the visual communication course in the Lyit, I would love to be more employable in digital art. Anyway enjoy the paintings, I will try to post more regularly to this website.
Some more late posts!
Finally I am posting onto this website after 2018 has ended and the challenge ended a few weeks ago. The reason I left it so late was because I went through a break up, but couldn’t get my scanner until over a week ago. Now that all the paintings are scanned here they are. I added 20 paintings to this post instead of the usual 10. Continue reading “365 Days of Paint: 311-330”
A few paintings experimenting with atmosphere. I am taking orders now, so if you would like a custom made painting let me know.
The rest of the paintings for Inktober 2018. I learned a lot during this challenge, but also found that I have much more to learn. I find working with ink to be so exciting, despite the mess I sometimes managed to make. I’m looking forward to doing it again next year.
This week I sent three of my inktober paintings to the Galway Art Centre for their open art exhibition. I am very excited to see how that turns out. I would also like to mention that I will be selling art at a stall at the Creeslough craft fair on Sunday the 25th of November. I’m hoping to sell some of my watercolour and ink paintings, digital prints, doodles and Christmas cards. For more information email me; firstname.lastname@example.org!
