2020 Irish Mythology Calendar On Etsy

Hey guy! I’ve reached my target for Fundit and it won’t be long until I start printing. I’m so excited to announce my etsy page is open for business. Well it was already open… but I um… ahem… hadn’t logged into it since January. The dust has been swept off and it’s ready to sell some calendars. If you want to access my Calendar on Etsy just click here or the Image of the calendar below.

Here are a few examples of what will be in my Calendar. I can’t give away too many spoilers! Send me an email if you have any questions to inkyandthepen@gmail.com.

Fantasy Paintings

Time to blow the dust off this website and post something. Summer is a really tough time to be productive, all I ever want to do is be as lazy as I possibly can and play video games (minecraft recently). Seeing as it’s halfway through the final month of summer and I will be going straight into second year of a Graphic Design course, I really feel I need to get some serious work done. I painted these paintings in May, but I feel the September “Back to School” productivity kicking and I think I should act now before procrastination comes back. It may be the fact that I have a deadline so the panic set in a bit.

Have a wee look through these paintings, let me know what you think of them. I’m going to be working on various projects from now up until Christmas!

Floral Watercolours

It has probably been about 4 months since I’ve actually posted anything on this page. I’ve been quite distracted lately, continuously painting and posting on instagram and facebook, but I’ve ignored etsy, this website and other platforms I am meant to be selling work on. I painted these paintings in March as part of an instagram challenge. I think a lot of them would be very good to make into patterns. One thing I am intending to do soon is learn how to make patterns as I am never satisfied with my results. Perhaps there will be a skillshare class I can learn something from. I’ve been accepted into a Graphic Design course in the LYIT in my hometown, I’m not sure if I will get funded yet, so I need to start working on selling my work at galleries and art fairs to ensure I have the money to continue my studies. I have been feeling like procrastinating a lot, but can’t afford to do so any longer. I have a few ideas of how I can make money, but would love to hear any ideas from the rest of you, leave a comment or send me a message if you have any advice.

Below are floral paintings I had a lot of fun making, so check them out and let me know what you think of them. I’ll post my more recent illustrations soon enough to this sight.

365 Days of Paint: 346 – 365

Here we have the final paintings for last years challenge. I feel like I have learned so much about painting and about myself while working on these. I still can’t believe I spent a full year painting every single day! I’ve never been good at committing myself to anything, but I can definitely say I want to paint and draw for the rest of my life, I just need to find some stability with it. I’m considering applying for the visual communication course in the Lyit, I would love to be more employable in digital art. Anyway enjoy the paintings, I will try to post more regularly to this website.

365 Days of Paint: 311-330

Finally I am posting onto this website after 2018 has ended and the challenge ended a few weeks ago. The reason I left it so late was because I went through a break up, but couldn’t get my scanner until over a week ago. Now that all the paintings are scanned here they are. I added 20 paintings to this post instead of the usual 10.  Continue reading “365 Days of Paint: 311-330”
