100 Days of Paint: Days 81 – 100

I have finally posted all of my paintings for 100 days of Paint! It really was such an amazing experience and it really helped me grow as an artist. I think I will do a Christmas themed painting challenge throughout December, if anyone knows any challenges I should take part of let me know! I also think for 2018 I am going to do 365 days of paint. I realize that this is probably a little too ambitious for me as I plan to do a lot in 2018; Move to Cardiff, start an online MA in Illustration and attempt to work freelance (once I stop procrastinating and actually start selling things on etsy!) Speaking of which I am hoping to print off Christmas cards soon, just currently looking for the right place to buy them off.

Enough of my rantings, enjoy these 20 paintings I’ve crammed into the last blog! Christmas is just around the corner so if you would like to buy a painting as a gift then give me a shout.

A few more paintings from 100 days of paint! Check them out. I am now finished this challenge, but still need to put up about four more posts. I am now focusing on making Christmas cards and maybe even commissions for anyone who’s interested!

100 Days of Paint: Days 31-40

I have been posting so much paintings on instagram that I have barely posted anything on this website. Definitely going to attempt to post more regularly. I need to set up an inktober blog too.

While I was doing these paintings I started to consider doing surface pattern designs. I have worked on a few things on photoshop, but have many more things to learn.

Have a look at my paintings, like them, share them, follow me and let me know if you would like to set up a commission!

University Paintings

Although I prefer to draw, I did have my painting phase in University. I do every now and then revisit painting, but mainly using ink and watercolour paints in a style I can draw around. In this blog I am exhibiting five paintings from my first and second years of University. They are all completely different styles due to my lack of planning when I come face to face with a canvas. Most of the time I just wing it. I feel like Art University was a complete waste of time and I still have no idea what I am doing; sometimes it works, other times I just murder a canvas.

The first two images are from my final project of first year, I decided to make maps out of flowers and faces. The last three are from the first semester of second year, for which I decided to do a project on mental health. Check out the paintings below and let me know what you think!
