365 Days of Paint: 1- 10

Here are the first 10 days of 365 Days of Paint. I will try to post these every 10 days. I got a little lazy with the images and ended up just reusing my instagram photographs as they do the same job. So far I am really enjoying painting these, but soon I might start painting baked goods.  I use a waterbrush and winsor and newton watercolours to paint these. Have a look through the paintings, feel free to ask me any questions. Leave a like and follow my website, facebook and instagram. If you like any of these designs let me know and I could sell you a painting just like it.

365 Days of Paint Challenge 2018: Intro

December has been extremely slow, I have done some regularly paintings, but during Christmas I only feel like eating, drinking, sleeping and watching Tv. Now coming up to the New Year, having just quit my job in Dominos, I am very motivated to try and do a painting every single day this year, I’m thinking of having a theme for each month. It might be difficult as I am moving to Cardiff at the end of January. I may change my mind as I do this as I may not like being restricted to the one thing. We’ll

At the moment I have the flu and find it hard to do anything except sit up next to my laptop and type. So I have made a list of my monthly themes for my daily paintings:

January: Food

February: Flowers

March: Birds

April: Dogs

May: Cats

June: Human

July: Patterns

August: Still Life

September: Mythology

October: Autumn

November: Expression

December: Comfort

If anyone has any suggestions let me know, I might change them.

100 Days of Paint: Days 71-80

I really should have posted these as I did them on this website, I seem to be a lot more committed to Instagram and Facebook. Now that it is November I find it extremely difficult to be motivated to post regularly, set up an etsy shop and start selling my work. I like to call it the Winter blues. I already suffer from depression, which I have control of most of the time, but ever since the clocks went back it’s been getting darker so much earlier, which is so depressing and I just find it so hard to do anything. Luckily completing 100 days of paint has made drawing and painting come more naturally as a daily ritual. Enjoy the paintings! I think I’ll finally make a post about my October artwork ‘Inktober’ soon.

100 Days of Paint: Days 61-70

It’s November. Know what that means? It is officially okay to talk about Christmas. Also for me it means I can start making Christmas Cards. (not that it has anything to do with the paintings below)

Have a look through the paintings in this post, I really feel like I was doing a lot of experimentation and exploration in painting styles here. It’s good to be able to get in the zone and discover different techniques I could use in the future!

If you like what you see like, share, follow or maybe even consider setting up a commission.

100 Days of Paint: Days 11- 20

Here is days 11-20 of paint. I made these out of watercolours and pen. Have a look and let me know what you think. I’d also like to mention that I’m working on setting up the shops on redbubble and society6, which I will make a post about another day. I’ve also decided to set up a store on etsy, I’ve a few things I need to set up first though!
